ORCA TX-104D (Diver's Beacon) |
 The ORCA TX-104D is a safety beacon that no diver should be without. The ORCA TX-104D will allow you to be found by search and rescue authorities, or your dive boat if they have direction finding (DF) equipment, should you surface out of sight of your dive launch.
Always armed, the ORCA TX-104 automatically activates once you enter the water. Once on the surface, it begins transmitting on 121.5. When you're safely back on your dive platform, just turn the beacon off. Rated to 80 meters, this safety beacon is sufficient for most diving applications. If you're diving deeper than 65 meters, then the ORCA TX-103SE, which is rated to 425 meters is the ORCA safety beacon for you.
